I settled into the delightful Blue Horizon hotel, Robson Street, Downtown Vancouver, while Sam visited the Australian Consulate. I am thankful for the abundance of ice machines in Hotels in Canada and the States, though not for the traditional uses.
Feet first! Then the knees :)
Sam and I had a very late lunch at a place with more televisions and wings choices than absolutely necessary. Sports fans are certainly well catered for here with a TV at every table, in addition to the general view ones.
It felt weird saying goodbye to Sam, not sure if we will be able to catch up again in Seattle, or if she will have to fly home early from Vancouver after her great bear adventure.
No need for more food for dinner, so finished the day with a couple of glasses of this delightful number.
I am this wine's tag line ... remarkably full bodied.
Sunset view from my room accompanied by the relaxing sounds of gulls. Aah.
